Castro Bar TWIN PEAKS Seeks Donations

Saying that it is in imminent danger of permanently closing, popular and historic bar Twin Peaks, known as the Gateway to the Castro, is asking for donations to help it stay open. Even as The Castro becomes less gay, how important is it to keep this historic bar open?

I would donate if I visited San Francisco more recently than fifteen years or so. I would visit the city and a friend from Aptos would join me for a long weekend before we went to his house. I met him in the Army in 1968.
