Omg could this year get worse? Ron was one of those rare once in a lifetime guys. For those into the "straight alpha" scene where the men are actually straight and actually alpha ron was the pinnacle I really think most guys who do the whole alpha thing are betas playin dress up. Ron was the real deal similar to colton in dc. He doesnt have any equal alive. this scene is losing its anchors.

Too bad there are not many men on Rentmen that can compare to Ronnie. One of my regrets is I never went to AC so I could meet him.

He was a gem. I think actual straight men have gone out of favor and replaced by gay men who play the role of straight men. He was born in the wrong era. There are gay men in their graves who would wake n slap us all for not making ron bigger than he was.for god sake he has 3 posts and some scrawny 90 lb twerp with blue hair and a rod goin thru his nose can have ppl chatterin for 10 pages.

I suspect he died trying to be larger than life similar to colton. I hope he passed feeling appreciated at least.

I had Skyped with him once a number of years back out of curiosity more than anything else. I was struck by how nice and laid back he was.

He really was. He played up that whole dominant straight alpha thing cuz thats wut ppl wanted. In real life you can tell he was an alpha male but he didnt act that way. For me its only fun when they have the credentials to back it up in real life. I saw him at clubs in atlantic city and he had a presence. I should have booked him on the spot but I was on a work trip and my co workers were all around me.

I just feel this industry really is garbage now. Its just posers and imposters. I usually leave rentmen and similar sites wanting to vomit and same for pornhub now after deleting all my vids and those i like. Its like the walls are closing in smh.

I chatted on line with the scrawny model he did domination videos with, and he confirmed that Ronnies girlfriend had told him that he’d been ill for the past few months but was concealing it from friends. So who knows if he d been taking supplements that caused some sort of negative reaction...liver or kidney...just speculating but that occurs in bodybuilding.

well kidney failure is becoming more and more prevalent with bodybuilders. however... it usually doesnt cause short term death. so many that look and feel invincible have no idea what is lurking inside of them. blood pressure is usually the culprit for their kidney disease.

It's not strange for bodybuilders to die at age 50 or younger.

Put plain and simple: IT IS NOT NATURAL AND NOT MEANT TO BE.

The human body and heart are not supposed to bear 300+ pounds of mass, even if they are 6' tall.

When you hear of morbidly obese people who weigh 400+ pounds and are STILL ALIVE,

it gives you a new perspective of how dangerous is to engage in steroid abuse.

This is a shortlist with names and causes of death. Full list of 31 deceased in this link: Big Dead Bodybuilders.

  1. Mike Matarazzo: Frequent top 10 IFBB pro from 1992 to 2001. Four-time top 5 finisher at the Night of Champions. Died from a heart attack in 2014, age 47.
  2. Dan Puckett: 1st place 2006 NPC Collegiate National Heavyweight. Died from heart failure in 2007, age 22.
  3. Scott Klein: Four-time NPC Heavyweight competitor (1995 and 1997), two-time NPC super-heavyweight competitor (1998 and 2000). Died from kidney failure in 2003, age 30.
  4. Robert Benavente: Competed in multiple NPC shows from 1994 (teen division) to 2003 (1st place in Southern States). Died from a heart attack in 2004, age 30.
  5. Trevor Smith: Bodybuilding writer and coach. Never competed, but weighed over 400 pounds. Died from a heart attack in 2004, age 30.

i am not one to glamorize or rationalize their decisions but it seems we scorn those that go this route even though we ogle over their bodies yet clap and applaud the "fortunate" ones that go into rehab for drug addiction and martyr those that die from drug overdoses. i dont get it.
