Message Board Software Problems?

I just wrote a post and hit "post message" repeatedly, but the post never appears. Anyone know what the problem might be?

So this post appeared, but the previous one will not appear. x(

Well, I opened a new window and sent the post and now it appears. Never mind.

The last time I posted, the first post never appeared (nor were there any error messages). I had to re-post from scratch. It's happened to me a few times.

The usual cause of this is clicking the "Preview" button instead of the "Post" button.

 

(I've done it myself, guys, and this has been going on 10 years or so. I'm not trying to tell you you're stoopid. Just that we've been there, done that.)

 

IMO those two buttons are backwards, and even worse they've switched position recently.

No, in fact I thought that might have been the problem, so I was very careful in my subsequent attempts to post by hitting the "post" button, but to no avail. It was only when I exited that window, logged in again and posted "anew" that the post finally "took."
