Escorts in Chat Rooms

Okay, here's a fairly dumb question... Seems like I'm always reading about guys who find escorts in chat rooms. How does this work? Where are these chat rooms? How do you know someone is an escort?

Escorting in chat rooms is called cyberhustling. It's most commonly done on America Online, but I have heard of it done other places as well. It's usually done in chat rooms with escort in the title, such as "Escort4mNYC" or "EscortsM4M". It also happens in other chat rooms as well, usually ones based on a geography. Such as "NorthernNJm4m".

 

 

You'll know most escorts because they'll have either "escort", "4hire", or something similar in their handle. They may also have it in their profile as well. Sometimes they'll make announcements in the chat room, like "Cute Escort Available for hire right now." That's a pretty obvous clue. : )

 

If you're interested, send them an instant message and take things from there.

 

Oh, some escorts just park themselves in chat rooms and leave their away message functions on. In that manner they are more like an online advertisement for their services. To get in touch with those escorts you'll have to leave them e-mail.

Just keep in mind that just because one calls himself an escort online doesn't make him one. There are a lot of flakes and fakes, especially on AOL. Anyone can create a bogus screenname and profile.

I didn't realize it was so simple as having the escort just stating the facts. I thought maybe there was some cryptic decoding I'd have to understand. Guess I've been hanging out in the wrong chat rooms. Thanks for the info!

I go to gay.com to advertise in my city room and in Mature ( I like older guys). On the one aoccasion I thought it would be fun to hire someone for myself I was horribly disappointed- I had to send the poor fellow home he had misrepresented himself so badly.
