In the wake of the Spitzer mess Slate magazine has done some great articles on prostitution, but this link included in one of them is the most fascinating yet. It answers several questions I've wondered about in a way that doesn't just define, but makes you work through the distinctions and note all the gray areas...

Doesn't look like taking a camera and trying to pretend it's a porn shoot would be effective, but then again it could work.
