Thread Disappears

I was disappointed that whomever decided to eliminate the thread started by rentingdad on the Spitzer situation. Yes, it is a fact that there is another thread, but that has the unfortunate link to Benjamin Nicholas in the title. No one is even close to suggesting that BN had anything to do with this, so why was that the thread left? Why should either thread be eliminated anyway?

Apparently deej had the thread in the shop for repairs. I didn't realize that a flame war had broken out in the thread and have no objection to fixing that problem.
