Very sad; the kid was killed because he asked Brandon to be his valentine. I live for the time when Brandon would just say thank you,

Yeah, I hadn't known that that was the reason until I saw it on Ellen. Really, really sad.

i wouldnt be suprised if it comes out that other kids ragged on this guy for being asked out..

I was once in Larry's shoes. It really wasn't that long ago I was still in high school and being teased daily because the clothes I wore were "gay", I wasn't masculine enough or what ever reason some of the straight students thought of. The teasing all started back around the same grade as Larry. I never made any moves on the guys at school and never asked any to be my Valentine but teasing is teasing. I feel for Larry's parents because their little boy is gone and I feel for those who loved Brandon unconditionally too. From what I've read and it isn't an excuse but he came from a troubled home and was in state supervision. I'm not sure where I am going with this but he obviously probably wasn't getting the help that he needed. I'm about to ramble now but those with little ones be they children or other family relations I hope that you teach them that teasing in anyway isn't OK.
