Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story

I'm a long time fan. Don't know why I waited so long to see her recent film. Finally watched tonight, streamed on Amazon Prime. It is everything I was hoping for. All I can say.

Saw her with my ex in Dallas and Minneapolis. She was made a scapegoat, very funny. Also she shared her mom with all of us, she was funny and honest, she will be missed

As just this guy's opinion, she was funnier when she had a lot less to lose.

 

Now, everyone knows who she is and she's made millions ($75 million if you believe the Chicago Tribune). While I can't fault her for overwhelming success, a lot of her material has softened and it's a less entertaining set because of it.

 

A man can only take so much talk about Housewives franchises.

 

She's currently at a crossroads: Continue being personified as a martyr over those Trump beheading photos or go back to basics and redevelop a strong set that reminds audiences why she was entertaining to begin with.

 

If it's funny, people will have short memories about the bad stuff. Human nature loves a comeback story.
