Just another bump here - think I'm going to hire for a couple of hours, but would mean getting a room before he arrives.  Want to make sure I'm not going to get ghosted after fronting for a room and driving to meet him.  Anyone?

Have a potential meeting set with him tomorrow - he asked for a deposit, since he'd have to drive about an hour to me.  Told him I wouldn't do a cash app deposit because of anonymity, but would give him an Amazon card once I know he is legitimately on the way.  It got a little tense negotiating that part, but think it will smooth over.  If anyone has any insight before tomorrow, that'd be helpful.  Otherwise I suppose I'm taking this one for the sake of research.  Science!
