Ok not a financial forum, but thought I would post. I bought Tesla a long time ago and waited till it went to the 300s. Then it dropped to 200s, got nervous and sold it as soon as it crossed 300 again. In very short timeframe, it has rocketed to 640 today? I am trying to understand-I do see some good news. But am not seeing the pull with almost every company offering electric cars nowadays and even hybrids. it is not like they are the only game in town. I myself drive a hybrid, in the frigid weather, an electric car is just a risk if you are stuck in a snowstorm.

The stock market is a roller coaster... Been there done that, so you're not alone... :( However, life moves on. I'm concentrating in buying experiences and not things to enjoy the rest of my life...

The market is one of the best ways over time to create wealth. Trying to play individual stocks is very risky even if you make a full time job of it. Just setup a good diversified ETF portfolio with some REITs if you want more direct RE plays. And re-balance annually. You'll do much better than many and spend much less on fees.

And yes, the whole reason to do all of this is to be secure enough to live life well throughout your life. Don't forget the experiences! They're the whole point.
