Today's NYTimes has a feature article on the Axel Hotel, a new gay center in Buenos Aires. It is billed as the first luxury gay accommodation in South America. The article also discusses the gay culture and climate in Argentina, the rapid rise of gay tourism and its economic impact, and the legalization of same-sex marriage in B.A. Nice article.

Karl-G,

Thanks for the heads-up. I wanted to check out this property on my impending trip to Buenos Aires, but unfortunately the hotel requires a minimum of 4 night stay while I'll be there only for two nights.

I love the Axel hotel in Barcelona and I'm sure that the new acquisition in BA won't disappoint.
