It would have greatly helped if I had a clue to the term "adult school." A school for challenged adults, perhapsl

Thanks guys. I am planning a trip to Hawaii this month so I have something on the dockets. And I am planning to look into volunteering at an animal shelter come Spring. But just needing to push myself now to do some small things.

I didn't agree about a thousand times better. But, then I liked my job in Philadelphia. I have visited countries on my own (no tours or cruises) like The Former Yugoslavia, Sweden, Prague and Russia.

I retired from full-time work 15 years ago.

 

This is a wonderful time to say “Yes” as often as I can. By this I mean: volunteering actively in the arts and my community, trying to be a better friend to my friends, traveling, reading, and exercising.

 

I focus on what brings me joy. I give myself latitude to change directions in my life as I wish.

 

I tell every new retiree: none of my current activities were things I envisioned when I first retired years ago. So, go for it. Get started. And feel free to veer into new ideas as often as you wish.

 

If not now, when?
