I just heard, from sketchy sources that Texas has passed a law that should cause many of us to consider editing our on line dating profiles and deleting our photos. Any one know the details?

I think several states have passed similar laws. The Texas statute might be too broad but I don’t really think it’s worth worrying about.

Texas guy here. Yes, a law was passed here in Texas pertaining to the sending of unwanted nude pictures. I’ve often thought laws of this nature were the reason Grindr implemented a feature that allows users to select whether or not they’re willing to accept NSFW type pics. Maybe just a coincidence.

That or they decided to do the right thing.
