+ honcho Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 It's said that music can tame the savage beast. Let me hummm something onfor you. The pedant in me can't resist pointing out that english quote is "music has charms to soothe the savage breast" (Wm. Congreve The Mourning Bride) ; however there was a latin poem which did indeed name beast (c.f. https://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/music-has-charms-to-soothe-the-savage-breast.html)

When I read your post, I realized I had misremembered the quote and searched for the wrong word. Receiving a response, however, led me further down the wrong path. In the case of the young man, however, or one like him -should we ever, in fact, cross paths- I would be as "charming" as possible and quite content to start at the breast before moving on to more meaty fare to play my tune upon his flute.
TruthBTold Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 I'd say "Perfect" . . . da673b74f213db01d9110c744684d9854cb1c327.jpg + easygoingpal, prof, beachboy and 1 other 4
