What Are You In For?

 

Two little kids are in a hospital, lying on stretchers next to each other outside the operating room---the first surgeries of the day.

 

The first kid leans over and asks, "What are you in here for?"

 

The second kid says, "I'm in here to get my tonsils out and I'm a little nervous."

 

The first kid says, "You've got nothing to worry about. I had that done when I was four. They put you to sleep, and when you wake up they give you lots of Jell-O and Ice Cream. It's a breeze."

 

The second kid then asks, "What are you here for?"

 

The first kid says, "A circumcision."

 

Whoa!" the second kid replies. "Good luck buddy. I had that done when I was born. Couldn't walk for a year."

Thanks for labeling this post as "humor". We wouldn't want anyone around here to assume you were telling a story about yourself.

At first when I read the two responses, I had no idea what you both were talking about. Today I happened to revisit the AT&T thread which I hadn't looked at since I first had noticed how clever the author was.

Imagine my shock when I discovered today that it was not his work.

 

So to clarify completely and leave no doubt or room for speculation as to the author of the humorous story I posted the other day... I don't have a clue who wrote it. I got it as a forwarded email from a family member and trust me when I say that since she is a female, I am pretty sure it didn't happen to her.

 

So I have made contact with a lawyer to determine whether I need to bring my cousin up on charges to protect the intellectual copyright of God knows who.

 

There, that should take care of everything unless you think I should make the lawsuit a class(less )action suit..
