Eye Boogers

I learn something new every day, and today I saw a line in a magazine explaining eye boogers, something I was previously unaware of. It seems that the mucous discharge of the eye can collect with black eyeliner to form the notorious little boogers. Never having used any color eyeliner, this is news to me.

 

However, I did note in both Brazil and Argentina that some boys have gone past the plucked eyebrow look and are now using some eye makeup as well. I wasn't sure at first, because you don't exactly want to stare, but it came up numerous enough times that I felt sure it was eye makeup and not just pretty eyes.

 

So, going up close and personal and putting the other person in a position where he had to close his eyes, I did my own research. Sorry, but the result was inconclusive, because when I got that close I forgot all about it!
