Dietrich started as a violinist & only gave it up when she damaged her hand & could no longer play to the standard she had previously achieved.

She occasionally played the violin in public but regularly played the saw while entertaining the Allied troops on the front line during WW2

I like Dietrich in Rio a CD, especially "I've Grown Accustomed to her face" from "My Far Lady.

Ratched with Sarah Paulson, Netflix Sept 18th. Looks like great fun. For some reason I thought Louise Fletcher was older in OFOTCN but she looks rather young. Paulson is 44 starring in prequel but she can pull off looking younger.
