Checked out his profile in a private window and I'm pretty sure he's been mentioned here but is a serial name changer and watches the forums.

Exactly. A scammer has a better chance of conning someone if a potential client gets in touch without doing ANY research OR he tries to research and there's no information because the escort has changed his name. Or as in this case someone who potentially has some information is blocked so he can't see the profile as easily (lol easily defeated by using a private browser).
