He's represented by Planet Jockboys, so you will be communicating with a rep instead of him directly.

Is Planetjockboy currently considered a reliable and reputable site by this forum?

i saw one previous link ( https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/planet-jockboys-does-it-again.95034/#post-873268) but obviously not an exhaustive discussion.

I just wanted anyone who may be interested in contacting him to know they would be talking with a rep instead of the guy directly. Unfortunately, if you don't realize this, then the rep pretends to be the actual guy in the back and forth communication. I think @big-n-tall and I both check the PJB site regularly, so I am aware if I see a RM ad and I've also seen him on PJB, then I know how to proceed and want everyone to be aware as well.

After I experienced this with the first hire through them, then I advised up front I was aware of *both* the PJB site reference and the RM reference, so they knew I knew I wasn't communicating directly with the guy I wanted to meet.

Their website was changed a few weeks ago, but it's still not as user friendly as it should be. I think the reps are on the up and up and don't attempt to mislead in any way. I think the personnel are almost totally different now than in the link referenced from several years ago.

Thanks informative. But what i also mean is if there is a profile of a gentleman on PJB, despite going through an intermediary was there any history or evidence that the photo's used on PJB were fake and a different person could show up. I guess I'm asking if there's any way to know if the rep's running PJB are vouching or not for the veracity of the listings on their site.

Not DaveOrDavid but... as far as my experience goes, no one I hired from PJB (and RM by proxy) used fake photos. All showed up and were the guys pictured. And I met a few Sean Cody guys through them. The last guy I hired through the site was Sheridan/Rowan/Gunner (porn names) who goes by Jason on the PJB site. There are a few on the site I have my eyes on currently. LOL!

To be fair, I do seem to recall years ago that one guy had inaccurate pics on the site, but that guy was removed immediately and I have never seen any indication of a similar occurrence since.

I didn't intend to take this thread off track by mentioning PJB and just wanted to ensure everyone was aware if they contacted the guy through RM, they would probably be dealing with a rep at PJB since he appears on their site.

I feel their site alone didn't drive enough business for them and they began using RM in addition to their site in 2017. I think they are basically on the up and up and I haven't heard on any issues with fake pics on their site or in the RM ads.

I'm going to review some previous threads on PJB again and provide some info they can be used in future threads like this one as a point of reference. I meant to do this on another recent thread but procrastinated and now wish I had already done this.

Haha thanks. All good. I almost was going to start a new thread about it myself. Thanks greatly appreciated.

I met Erik last week while he was in DC. He is 100% worth it and I can't wait to see him again. We had similar backgrounds so talking with him was so natural and easy. Judging by the way our conversation went when I was setting things up with him I think I was communicating with him directly. I was having travel delays but kept him up to date on my progress and he was more than accommodating. Didn't feel like a middle man was involved at all. I didn't even know about the PJB ad until I saw this thread. At any rate go for it and if you don't I could care less...I don't want to share him with anyone!

He’s also very responsive to texts. He’s moved permanently to the Annapolis area. Definitely planning to meet. I’d enjoy a trip to Annapolis as well.

That’s actually awesome news I’m in the DC area more than the west coast so I’ll definitely get to see him more!

Ok folks I've had several members send me PMs me what happened between me and "Hunter Bronson" since I gave him rave reviews on our first meeting so I'll spell it out below. (Hopefully this isn't a review)

So I tried over and over to set up a second meeting with him on a previous trip to DC. Finally he responded and we set a time and price. I confirmed with him the day before my arrival and everything seemed to be good. I get to DC and let him know I had checked into my room but got no response from him. I could tell he read all my messages asking if he was still coming or if we needed to reschedule but still he would just read my text and not respond. Honestly I don't know if he's having issues or is working with an agency now or a third party but everything was just not like the first time we talked. For a short time he had two profiles posted on Rentmen both with the same pics but different names and numbers. Now the old profile has different pics of someone else and is in the DC area as well. Clearly the work of an agency.

Since another member said they had a good experience I figured I'd give it another shot. On two recent occasions I reached out and asked about a meeting but received absolutely no response. So I'm sure I could give myself a headache and let my mind wonder about why I was "blackballed" after what seemed like an outstanding first meeting but I won't. My gut tells me something but its not worth worrying over. I've said it before if you do manage to actually meet him then great if not there are plenty of good looking providers out there that are more than interested in making you a regular client.
