So there I was on Grindr when Rocco Steele pops up as being a kilometer away...Intrigued, I dropped him a line...Not that I thought Rocco would just want to hook up with me (even though I so would), but just to see what's going on -- like is he really in Melbourne, appearing somewhere?

 

The message back (borderline syntax included): "I don't do meet up without appointment man. You need to make an appointment on my appointment page for free. It confirms the time and date of our meet up for my Security purposes as a Gay Pornstar....And also Paying is not my vocabulary I'm just looking for fun and I want to clear I am gay porn star NOT an escort...I'm doing it for free if you will follow je on my appointment page. Let me know you are interested and ready for it."

 

I followed the bit.ly link he sent, which does look legitimate...Also asks for my credit card information. Obviously I did not fill out the information to see what would happen next.

 

So what do you think is going on here? Clearly Rocco is not in town and not giving it away for free. Does he simply have some designee in Melbourne who is directing traffic to his only fans site or something like that? Is it a total fraud of someone using his rather distinctive images to get credit card info, and also setting up a fake appointment page website? Has anyone experienced this on grindr either with Rocco or some other well known escort?

So you think it's not Rocco Steele using far flung surrogates to drum up business for his Only Fans site, but just a total scam of someone out to get credit card info, totally unconnected to Rocco? (The screen name was Huge XXL...At least some truth in advertising.)

I saw "him" popping up in th different cities on Grindr. Of course it's not him. A scam.

I am also hit often on Grindr by gorgeous buffed men who would pay me 3500$ every month to be their sugar baby.....:D:D

I thought it could be a deal he is in on, i.e. recruit folks in Big Gay Cities to post with his pics locally on grindr, forward grindr devotees to his webpage, recruit them for his OnlyFans page ($9.99/month) -- the site to which I was referred (and was asked to give my credit card info) looked at least marginally legitimate...He could make a lot of money that way.

A very common Grindr scam...
