I recently came across a CD by Steve Ross, which I didn't even know I had, and one of the songs was "Home, Sweet Heaven," sung by Tammy Grimes as Madame Arcati in the musical version of Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit." It's a wonderful patter song. I don't think I've heard it since I saw the show in 1964. I'm sure you'll all like it!

PS I didn't remember that Bea Lillie was in this show. Of course, she was Madame Arcati, so Tammy Grimes must have been the departed (and returned) wife. I think Rex Harrison was in the movie, "Blithe Spirit," but I don't remember who played that part in the musical.

Thanks for this Beethoven! Tammy Grime's distinct voice brings a smile to my face every time I hear her. And thanks for exposing this musical to me. I wasn't bitten by the "Musical Theatre Bug" until around 1970, so this show is new to me.
