New York theater mavens should run to see Passing Strange.

It's a new musical that's opened at the Public Theater.

Got great reviews in the NY Times and Variety. I saw it last night

and was blown away, will probably try to see it again this weekend.

 

No way to describe it and do it justice. Stew is the story teller

and it's the tale of his coming of age as a young middle class black artist and rock musician.

 

Throw away all those cliches in your head - his take on everything

is wise, very funny and something you haven't seen before. A true original.
