Well, they are off! The journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles commenced yesterday morning. Today, each of the riders, pass by my townhouse some 140 miles south. I can see them quite visibly and distinctly from my study which is on the second floor of the complex.

 

What a feeling of pride!

 

[One of my good friends has volunteered for a few years, and I've contributed to riders who I know or who have been recommended.

They should reach their determined destination of Los Angeles on Saturday, the 8th of June. Cheers and a thunderous applause to all!
