Here!TV's series "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Porn Stars" devoted its 6th episode this year to an hour-long retelling of the case, including lots of photos, videos and jailhouse interviews from Harlow. Not surprisingly, he claims to be innocent.

I'm still surprised this story hasn't shown up on Dateline NBC yet. It has so many lurid storylines and details that it seems to be totally up their alley. Maybe they are just waiting to include the trial.

 

It is odd that he could say in this plea deal that Harlow did it but then refuse to testify. Why would the prosecution accept a plea if they didn't get a promise to testify against the co-defendant? There would appear to be plenty of evidence to get a conviction without a plea deal.

Harlow Cuadra Trial Begins

 

Here's the latest update on the Harlow Cuadra murder trial. The trial began a couple of weeks ago. It's interesting that Joseph Kerekes pleaded guilty to the murder of Brian Kocis but refuses to testify against Cuadra. Kerekes took the life option rather than risk the death penalty at trial. Any thoughts on why Kerekes would willingly spend life in the slammer for Harlow? Was the sex that good?

 

And on another point, just where does one hide a listening device on one's person at a nude beach?

But I've seen suggestions of sunglasses with a mic in the frame or a beach bag with embedded equipment.

 

I got a chuckle out of the reportage that the nude beach encounter happened in "La Jolla, San Diego". It's La Jolla, CA, near San Diego.

It's also possible that the cops were hiding out with longrange microphones pointed in their direction.

 

I still don't get why the Commonwealth offered a plea deal to Kerekes without a guarantee he would testify. Surely they had plenty of evidence to convict them both of capital murder. So why offer a plea deal for a lesser charge?

acting is limited, but presumably there's a depth of emotion there that others missed.

my favorite on the trial, his letter saying that to avoid conviction, he needed to look good, clean-cut, no black, charcoal or blue suits, and to clean up his webpage, i.e., get that picture off in jeans that made his ass look fat...it's official, his narcissism has overtaken any sense of reality.
