Sure enjoyed the Learning Roster 2000.

 

I agree with #'s 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 12, and 15. As for the others:

 

"4. A surprising number of clients make large, and often unwise, emotional investments in their relationships with escorts."

 

I wonder how surprising the number is or is it that the group of sad men who do make the mistake of investing emotionally are really, really sad men.

 

"5. There are probably as many clients who feel contempt for the men they pay for sex as there are escorts who feel contempt for the men who pay them; they deserve one another."

 

I do agree with "they deserve one another" but the actual numbers are a mystery to me. I have little experience with contemptuous escorts because I can spot one a mile away. No matter how sexy or attractive, I will not pay for contempt. I have too much self-respect and respect for the service great escorts provide.

 

"6. Despite 4 and 5 above, the majority of men who are willing to talk here about their hiring of escorts seem fairly healthy mentally, and can analyze their practices rationally."

 

Considering much of the talk here is superficial, I can't be so generous with the mental health passes. Just mention Benjamin Nicholas and/or criticize Scott Adler and watch the loonies appear. :-)

 

"9. You can learn more about the escort from one phone call than from a half dozen emails."

 

Since I tend to reveal more in writing than I do in a phone call, I prefer email communication. What you learn in a phone a call is just how shy a guy can be, including myself, or the discovery that your sexy man-fantasy has a voice and faggot mannerisms (imagined) of the freak/fraud Carson Kressley.

 

"10. Never hire someone who advertises as "exclusively top" but uses only ass shots in his ad."

 

I don't hire exclusive tops and if your ad features great ass shots then I typically ask if I can fuck it.

 

"11. If a page appeared with actual photos of all the (non-escort)posters here, I could never match the names to the faces; no one I have met through this board looks anything like my original mental image of him."

 

Voices would be fun to hear, as well. I'm always surprised by someone's appearance if all I know is his or her phone voice. I think it would be more fun to post photos of members in drag and then try to match their usernames.

 

"13. Condoms and lubricant are the responsibility of the escort, unless the client has a special request."

 

I tend to take responsibility seriously and leave little to chance.

 

"14. Porn stars expect to be paid more for escorting, but usually are less accommodating."

 

My list isn't long but porn actors have out-performed other escorts, especially in the blow-job department. There's one actor, in particular, whose way with a hard-on is unlike any mouth-on-cock action I've experienced to date. Absolutely amazing.
