Anyone check out New Hero Spa on 56th and 8th Ave (formerly Manta)? C'mon people - take one for the team and report back.

I have been there to see my regular masseur. The cosmetics haven’t changed YET, but I’m told they will. New owner owns or owned W Spa. Yet the logo is the old Hero Spa logo. It will take a little time but they clean the place up and make it nice again.

PS: the only thing “new” is the raw surfaces where they tore off the word “Manta” throughout

I think spa ownership here is mostly like 3 power agents. Hero, New Hero, Energy, maybe more are all the same.

 

Utopia and Shangrila are same.

 

Green House and Super Men’s same.

 

I imagine much more and maybe even all roll up to the same ultimate money behind these businesses.

With Shangrila/Utopia and TSMS raising the bar they'll have "stiff" compition!

Times Square Spa/Hero. I tried calling the Hero number and got a text saying to call TSQ.
