This is my new LOVE.

http://www.jasonrenyolds.com/cockatiel1.bmp

I don't know how to post a picture in the message yet so if someone could help me I will be able to post the pic here instead of linking to it.

I use to raise Cockatiels with my ex. We were together a year and a half and raised many birds.

We never owned an albino like Papi here but, no I prevail and I own one.

Yahhhhh!!

Hey,

Well, this may or may not help you but if you scroll down in the lounge forum to a thread called techhie question(sic) you'll see a link to an older post that explains how to post a picture here.

Bottom line is, to share a pic here, it must be posted somewhere on the web. check out the thread farther down.

It's fun to share pics with the guys here and we each have tastes that range all over the map, so I am sure some here will enjoy what you have to share.

Good luck.

Again, not sure this will help, but if you go to a post on this site that has pics in it, then hit reply with quote on one and see how the code is written for the pics that are included, maybe that will help.

good luck

Yes, it works. (He's a beauty!)

The board software only supports JPG and GIF images because not all browsers support BMP and other formats.

I bet this bird will know some very colorful language before long.wink*

Like "Quiet Dirty Bird" or "Bend Over". I`m being bad. Actually looks like that bird has a little `tude there anyway.

;-) ;-)

Yes he has a tude.

I think he will start talking soon, but it is hard to get them to learn. They are not as smart as an African Grey.

But persistance pays off when it comes to animals.

Thank you guys for helping me.

Hey you're welcome. There were plenty of guys who helped me when I got started here. It's one of the great things about this place. for every set of guys who nag, jeer, bitch, piss, moan, and shout names, there's a few who try to help out. I have been on both sides of that fence, so a little penance never hurts.

It's phenomenal what they'll pick up, and it's never what you'd WANT them to pick up.

A cousin used to breed Springer Spaniels, and had an African Parrot. The bird sometimes got tired of the latest gaggle of puppies cavorting and making noise in "his" room. He'd sit on his perch, trying to nap, and yell "Dinner!", and then perfectly imitate the sound of dog food pouring into the food dish. The pups would run full tilt to the kitchen, and the bird got a few minutes of peace and quiet.

First time I saw it happen, I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.

I can't believe after 15 or so responses, no one has commented yet on the obvious irony of someone with your credentials being in the business of "raising" cock - a - tiels. }(

Sorry but it just seems to give rise to some very fowl comparisons. }( }(

You clearly have not read my website then ehh?

I use to raise COCKS (chickens) for 6 years when I lived in Missouri.

You can check my website if you would like to read more about it.
