No link. No name. No "paper".

80's popstar BOY GEORGE has been arrested on suspicion of assault and false imprisonment charges.

The singer has been accused of kidnapping male escort Auden Carlsen and chaining him to the wall of his east London, England flat on Saturday (28Apr07).

Carlsen claims he was hired by Boy George - real name George O'Dowd - to go to the singer's flat at the early hours of Saturday morning to pose for photos.

The ex-Culture Club star started taking pictures of him in kinky gear - but Carlsen claims he feared for his life soon afterwards.

He says, "George said he was popping out for milk at 5 am. I heard him come back and I walked into his bedroom wearing just my T-shirt. I was jumped on by George and another man.

"George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down." Carlsen accuses the singer of producing a box of sex toys and whips when the other man left, telling him, "Now you'll get what you deserve." The escort managed to free himself by pulling the hooks from the wall and alerted the police from a nearby newsagent.

He adds, "It's ironic that his biggest hit was Do You Really Want To Hurt Me - because I'm sure he did want to hurt me.

"I was convinced I was going to die." The singer has been bailed while detectives probe the allegations.

O'Dowd received community service last year (06) in New York when police found cocaine in his apartment.

Pose for photos? Early morning hours? Oh, please. Sounds to me like Boy George wasn't clear as to what sort of scene he wanted, hooker panicked and it's now international news. Lessons learned all around. Hopefully.

Well, I was curious if the terrified "Auden Carlsen" was over his trauma long enough to have his pic taken, and sure 'nuff found him at the UK tabloid "The Sun" online.

I have read The Sun article and would have to agree that there may be more to this story than what's been published. (Then again maybe not.) However, I am curious about one thing. I wonder if Auden collected his fee up front or if Boy George was smart enough to pay AFTER the session? }(

 

It's clear that BG hires frequently and he's made no bones about that -- one would hope he's experienced enough to know payment should be made after services are rendered. In this case it sounds like the scene got a little out of hand and we will never really know the true story of what was arranged for this encounter.

 

Another question, the inevitable law suit - Will BG counter sue for the damages done to the wall in his apartment when Auden pulled free and scurried down to the news stand to call the Coppers?

 

And just one more question I've begun to ponder. How long before the parody of "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" hits YouTube?
