Vote early and vote often for Sanjaya. The phones open a little early at maybe five minutes to the hour. And after the first twenty minutes after the end of the show, it is fairly easy to hit the redial button and get in many times. Nearly the entire roster of AI contestants this season is a joke. The producers were looking for personalities and not quality singers. Or Sanjaya, "the feminine-looking, long-haired, girly-boy" would not have made it in to begin with. Or his sister, "the Hooters girl with the big rack." The best singers do not make it past the production assistants who cull the herd like the men standing on the fence railing at feedlot or the Bureau of Land Management jerk out in the Wyoming open lands shooing down from helicopters. So it is now time to set a bastion of crap, popular TV on its ear, something that reportedly earns Simon Cowell 35 million dollars or more per year, by votiing for the worst, early and often, Sanjaya Malakar, or go to

"I'll be honest I have not see any of this seasons shows and very few past seasons show so I had to youtube this kid and um HE SUCKS!"

Greg is that the way to talk about someone from your state..:-)

He's from Federal Way, Washington...:-):-):-):-)

BTW if you want to see how he sucks you will have to go to XTube..:-)

There is just something about the guy that I find interesting, and depending on what web page a person reads, it appears his group of followers is getting larger.

Regardless of what state he is from I stand my what I had said about him and the show. If he wins I will lose all faith in Americans taste of music.

A lot of people figure he will probably make it to the top six or top four, but after that he will be gone. But who knows, its all speculation. It depends on how many young girls keep voting for him.

This week they will have to sing Tony Bennett songs. So we will see what Sanjaya does with is hair this week...:-)

How many "young girls" vote for him?!

I read some of the "official" message boards for that show (I was bored) and all the "young girls" seem to be wetting their panties for the other two white guys, in fact I'd say it was by a much greater factor, and you talk about "racist" postings - poor Sanjay shouldn't have been "allowed to leave Bombay" and "this is AMERICAN Idol, not "HINDU Idol"...etc...etc...

I tell you, some of the nastiest things written about this guy aren't from who you'd think they were- check out the (probably) pimply faced pre-teen and teen "young girls" who support the OTHER guys on their message boards.}(

I think that is too bad that people are so closed minded that they are picking on the poor guy because of his background or supposed background. I am sure that he is a nice person.

Hugs,

Greg

It is more than picking on the guy, it is finding the worst candidate and voting him through in order to make a mockery of the whole process. There are plenty of great singers who do not make it onto American Idol. The producers put on this awful singers along with the good ones to make the show more interesting. By voting for Sanjaya, EARLY AND OFTEN, the "Chicago Way" you are helping to do your small part to contiue the sham.

There are tons of good singers that don't try out for AI. I know a girl with a great voice, and I believe a five octave range. You would never see you on AI. She only sings religous music, and would never appear on a show like that. She has been on TV from time to time, but singing is not her career.

Sanjaya was incredibly bad last night, just awful, even danced with Paula while singing "Dancing Cheek to Cheek". Vote early, vote often!

There are still a couple of clankers left on the show, so should Sanjaya survive again no real harm. To all those who are pushing the

Sanjaya vote they are creating the buzz about the show to send it farther up polls. It would be a shame if Sanjaya makes the top 3 or 4 but so goes a show when the public does the voting, just look who the public put in DC. So I think once the vote begins to condense among 4 or 5, Sanjaya, the fringe factor will become less important.

I do find it humorous that the judges are stunned by his staying power as it was Paula and Randy who voted to make him top twenty and his was not a unanimous vote. So they are the last ones to complain as they put him there in the first place.

Lets face it our emotions are more on edge with a tinge of hate or disgust, as opposed to enjoyment. We have a strong tendency to vote against something as opposed to vote for something. I do not vote for this or any other show. I watch for entertainment I love the show. It is amazing that the show is as strong as it is in its 6th season most reality shows hit the wall after season 4. But reality shows keep coming out, ugh another dumb bachelor show started.

I just watched Sanjaya sing one of TOny Bennett's songs on this video.

He can hold a note and He's a good entertainer as look as you can see him visually. I don't know if he could push that many records, though, because he certainly isn't as entertaining if you just hear his voice coming out of your speakers without seeing him. What could someone like that do? He is probably too young to appeal to the Vegas crowds. Could someone make a career off of only doing concerts?

We have another week of Sanjaya :+

I think its good that he's still around.

I just want him to sing to his full ability. Its like having a car that can go 150 mph, but is governed to go only 100 mph. You know how fast the car can go, you want to go faster, but no matter how hard you press on the gas pedal it just won't happen, unless someone does something under the hood of the car. So somehow he has to get rid of what ever is holding him back.

He's having fun, the audience is having fun, and maybe a show like this, needs a person like him, because this season is very different than other years.

I think he will be around for a few more weeks yet.

What you say would be valid if only he could sing. He can't!

At first I thought this guy was irritating, but he kind of grew on me by the end of the clip.

That is the joke. He really cannot sing. He really cannot hold a note. He really has a thin voice. He really has a reedy voice. And still the producers put him through for viewer interest into the top 24. The reason as a viewer to vote the Chicago way, vote early adn vote often, is to try to put the joke back on the producers. Americans really think that their voting for these singers makes a difference. But the small script at the end of the show says that the producers have the power to change the results. Would it not be interesting if someone on the production offices let it slip that the producers of the show had actually done this. I think if he continues to get enough votes to actually get through, and the producers change the results, wouldn't it be hilarious to actually have the news of a Florida-type sham vote fraud come to light? VOTE SANJAYA!!! And remember... vote early, vote often.

Actually I was talking about the guy who is doing the talking in the youtube video that Greg put up. LOL :+

I actually think that people are becoming just a little too rough to Sanjaya. I mean, he's just 17 years old. I hope that he doesn't get an inferiority complex for the rest of his life.

I just found out that Sanjaya's sister is a waitress at Hooters!!!! :+

I would have to say that tonight was his best performance so far, so I would figure he will be around again next week. We will see if his following gets stronger when another person leaves the show.

Sanjaya is probably the third most famous person of Indian descent, ever, behind Gandhi and Mother Teresa. I thought he played the cameras well this week and he should be joining all us foolish viewers for weeks to come, laughing all the way to the bank.

RE: Besa Me Mucho

I thought he did a great job. The real lack of talent on the show is Paula Abdul, closely followed by that less than intelligent Randy Jackson.
