There was an excellent show on BBCamerica the other evening, Backstage Pass with Elton John. Cher was there in the celebrity-filled audience, lots of fun. I'm sure it'll be run again.

Chuck, I was being polite by not commenting. He hasn't had a decent album in literally decades. Even in the later years of his prtime, he was more of a self-parody than a vital force in commercial music. Yes, he's an out, big queen and raises money for AIDS, but yes, he was also one of those people who claimed to be "bi" and then ran into the closet for many years. I'd rather remember him for his few good albums in the early 70s and move on to other music and other icons.

He is probably the only person to have a hit in each decade of his career, if he keeps it up, he will have another hit around 2010 or shortly after..:-)
