Found this great link to watch all kinds of great shows streaming free over the internet:

First thing I noticed was that they had the new Dr. Who spin-off series Torchwood. Spent the last two days watching.

The stories aren't quite as good as Dr. Who, but what really surprises me is how sexually *un*repressed the British are. I know, they were smart enough to kick out their puritans... but I've never seen anything treat homosexuality so casually.

The male lead (who's gorgeous) hints that he's entirely bi, sees no point in categories or limitations, but in the first season only seems to go after guys. Several scenes of him kissing other guys.

But what's really fascinating to me is how matter-of-fact it is. It's not special, it doesn't draw much comment, it's entirely approved of yet also not all over-the-top.

In fact, over the course of the first season each of the main characters is seen 'snogging' somebody of the same sex except for one, though in the first episode he gets together with a male/female couple for some great sex.

I know they have to edit BBC productions down for our commercial-ridden TV over here, but if it does ever make it to Sci-Fi channel it's going to be interesting to see how much of this is cut by us puritanical Americans.

You're welcome. That link also has things like The Wire, Dexter, Rome... all the stuff those without premium cable are missing.

Plus on the top right are catagories other than TV, including a fair selection of Anime. First season of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone is pretty good too.

Hopefully they'll also have the next seasons of stuff like Dr. Who (and Torchwood) about 6 months before Sci-Fi gets around to broadcasting them.
