Where's the fresh eye candy Benjamin Nicholas?! I went to your blog hoping to scope out the latest eye candy and all I saw was this long sappy apology. I'm disappointed. God knows why all these poster have their panties in a bunch over your free blog. over 15,000 views and 180 replies? I barely read your blog. At most I skim it. They actually read it.

I want my 15 minutes eye candy and I want my 15 minutes jerk off of the week. Throw in a couple new nude picks of yourself while you're at it :+

I will not post any eye candy on this site until I see some fresh eye candy on your site.

I share your pain. I always did enjoy the eye candy he managed to scour the net looking for and bring together.

In the mean time I've been looking at http://www.mostbeautifulman.com/ ... it appears to have equally hot content if you skim and pick the ones you would typically like :)

Too much work. I liked it better when BN sorted it out for us. I already spend too much time sorting out eye candy for people. I like it when someone did it for me :)

It's sad indeed, that the only real comment Scott Adler has had about any of this is....the above quote.

Just when you thought that silence was golden, it unexpectably appears with something cheap and so totaly predictable.

Jeez, MTG, get a grip.

Whatever the "others" think about the BN thing is (probably a smart move) just going to be talked about behind the scenes. There CAN be competition you know - I remember hiring an escort to go to Amsterdam for a business trip and he had an escort roommate. My guy showed me the calendar and the dates were circled and his roomie had written "BITCH GOES TO EUROPE" and on the airline tickets (this was a while back, after all) he had written "BITCH'S TICKETS". :7

HUH? I loved the eye candy -- why do you think I had offered to zip it up and give it to people. As to the rest, really not my place to judge my colleagues.

OH MY GOD -- All I have to say is that I need to bring in Justin's calendar. It's soooooooo great to know that his red permanent marker isn't a demonstration of psychosis.

But seriously that was so funny I can't stop laughing. Awesome story and SO on point :)

Theres plenty of room for conplaining about whats written in free blogs in the other threads. The only thing that I want to see written about in this post is eye candy.

My intent was to express my surprise and disappointment that Scott had not to date, of that post, expressed his feelings or views on plagiarism, but took the time to comment on the missing eye candy on Nicholas' blog and the pain which he was feeling from it being taken down. To me, it reflected shallowness at a time when greater values were in play and at stake. Scott has never been shy about calling it like it is, from his perspective around here, and I just have to believe that he could have found a way of condemning the act without slaughtering the actor. I do understand his reluctance not to comment, but when all is put into context, from my perspective at the time of my post, I called it like I saw and felt it.

PS: For all you eye candy junkies who need other people's efforts to feed your habit - all you need to do is click on any archived post on Ben's blog and you will have everything you need. }(

My God, it's no wonder Benjamin Nicholas can soo easily commit fraud upon so many here. Doesn't anyone take personal responsibility for their own sexual pleasures and needs anymore?

And what would my condemning the act serve to add to the conversation already out of hand. I have striven to be very solid in my position that escort on escort attack is some of the worst of what we deal with on these boards and I had no intention of being a hypocrite. Be it blind items or faux personalities, I'm happy to call that as I see it when there is a direct attack on me but otherwise it's not my place to condemn -- let he who is without sin cast the first stone and such.

Plagiarism is wrong and I'm sure BN has learned his lesson. I'm already not taking my own advice in that the less that is said the less that can be responded to but I'm pretty sure what I've said is cut and dry.

The act needed NO more condemnation from me as everyone else was doing quite the good job of saying the same thing over and over. Anything I would have said would have been warped and manipulated into an attack on the actor thus was unnecessary.

I hope that addresses your concerns with my silence.

I don't know Scott, and now we never will know, but what I do know is, that, your only expression about Ben's crimes was about the absence of the eye-candy on his blog. I'm not trying to suggest anything other than what I personally felt when I read your one and only post which related to this topic. Can you not at least understand how I might have felt the way in which I did? And as a side note, from my experience, "that" thread was surprisingly "in control" from others I have witnessed, with less importance and less demonstrated fact. Ben should feel lucky. (No pun, but reality intended)

>I have striven to be very solid in my position that escort on >escort attack is some of the worst of what we deal with on these >boards and I had no intention of being a hypocrite.

Nor did you choose to express your personal feelings and beliefs of another human beings acts of theft and deception against the very people which you might very well call "friend" or at very least, "client" did you? Again pumpkin, you can take a stand against what YOU percieve to be bad and not feel as though you are commiting an act of aggression against the perpetrator, simply because they are one of your own.

Let's entertain this. It's extreme, but it IS applicable here. Let's say, that, the murderer of Bryan Charles Kocis, owner of Cobra Video, turns out to be an escort, which, at this point is fading somewhat, but still possible within the persons of interest still being looked at by police officials. If this is proven to be true, will you not then publicly express your outrage and horror against that escort for his crime against humanity, simply because he is what you consider to be a collegue?

One does not have to feel that one is speaking out against another simply because one denounces the crime.

>Plagiarism is wrong and I'm sure BN has learned his lesson.

Thank you for at least being correct about one thing.

>I'm already not taking my own advice in that the less that is

>said the less that can be responded to but I'm pretty sure

>what I've said is cut and dry.

Silence will never offer anyone anything worth embracing when it covers up the wrong doings of others. As a gay youth, Scott, I would hope that you could respect what others have sacrificied for YOU, by their own courage and selfless acts against what they once saw as wrong.

>I hope that addresses your concerns with my silence.

See above, dear.

"My God"? "fraud"? "Personal responsibility"? Someone is taking himself a little too seriously.

RE: Where's the fresh eye candy Benjamin Nicholas?!

In another growing contention of a thread I posted a link to an old thread about "Minimal Expectation" and just mentioning the thread reminds me of her sister thread "Escort Fees." For a couple weeks I remember those two threads dominating these boards full of personal attacks, undermining commentary on credibility, and wild accusation.

Taking a peek at those threads for old times sake I was able to surmise an overarching theme. Growth. We've all grown in some way or another over the past two years or so. Some have grown more angry and bitter, some have developed their bodies, some have even grown egos so large that others felt the need to shatter them. Personally, reading my "old" posts and the most recent ones and thinking about a recent issue -- I feel I've grown in yet another way.

The old me would have let your comments below suck me into a posting war that probably would have taken up my time and annoyed me to the point of breaking my new year’s resolution to stop biting my nails. The old me would have seen your comments as worth responding to and not seen how completely over the top and far fetched they were.

I would have taken you seriously and not realized that your comments span back to those old threads when too much value was assigned to insignificant facts irrelevant and harmless to the big picture. I’ve grown up trying to look at the forest instead of the tree. Unfortunately you already look at the forest and you never see the fact that the one tree you’re looking at is simply the home of a cute fuzzy harmless squirrel and you carry a paranoia that the forest is filled with animals poised to attack you.

So no, I won’t entertain your paranoia or extreme ideas. I wont get into a debate with you over ideas that don’t serve to do anything but attack other people. I’ve said that the only aspect of BN’s blog that interested me was the eye candy and making sure there were no “blind items” about me. Therefore my contribution to this conversation will not serve ANYBODY’s interest.

Staying silent has nothing to do with lacking courage and selfless acts. In fact staying silent is how some in our community commit selfless acts through anonymous donations and such. Don’t presume that my silence in the face of your attacks on another human being for doing something admittedly stupid and lazy is ignoring the sacrifices of my community. Perhaps it is you who is the bad apple as representative in our community for obviously taking pleasure in the fall of another and eating the carcass. I respect those who have sacrificed what they had for me; I made an academic career of studying it. At this point I’d ask you take a look at yourself and maybe question what you expect the community to gain from you attacking someone else.

I’m not defending BN’s actions – I’m merely saying that your crusades in the name of representing the gay community are more harmful than helping. I’ve grown beyond getting sucked into those debates and hopefully will soon be able to avoid them completely.

SA I know your cute, but are you fuzzy? Inquiring minds want to know....:-)

By the way, I really enjoyed your comments, very well said.

I'm glad I never post. That way I don't get condemned for not posting anything about the plagiarism.

Ha ha ... the squirrel in question isn't me but I'm spending far too much money to make sure I'm never fuzzy again ... laser hair removal is a serious bitch but buzzing and trimming and shaving and de ingrown hairing and lotioning and .... is just far more work.

Oh, look at the pretty squirrel ... he's eating a PIZZA! ;-)

Thank you very much. Honestly, writing it was a breath of fresh air.

Good grief, Scott. If you’re looking for someone who is actually out to publicly blemish your reputation or bait you into irrelevant discussions, you might just want to stick with Lucky. He’s the one trying to suggest that you’re disclosing personal information about clients and posters again, as well as setting you up for more “nail biting” annoyances. I have no interest in entertaining any of those type things, or anything else like them with you for that matter.

This was a civil dialogue and thread until you got up on your soapbox and began attacking me with the same empty rhetoric and discourse of which you accuse me of doing Scott. I simply asked you where you where you stood on the crimes of Ben. You took the fifth and hid behind some made up reality about not expressing discourse against fellow escorts.

>The old me would have let your comments below suck me into a >posting war that probably would have taken up my time and annoyed >me to the point of breaking my new year’s resolution to stop biting >my nails. The old me would have seen your comments as worth >responding to and not seen how completely over the top and far >fetched they were.

The old you? Your recent postings here with Lucky would suggest that the old you is still the current you. But I digress, simply to highlight your own public hypocrisy.

>Staying silent has nothing to do with lacking courage and selfless >acts. In fact staying silent is how some in our community commit >selfless acts through anonymous donations and such

There’s a HUGE difference, Scott, between writing a check and donating money to a worthy cause, and standing up publicly and vocally to expose wrong doing that occurs in our society. And, if you can’t see that, Scott, then perhaps you need to step out of that silver, spoon fed lifestyle you’ve been living for twenty-two years and get involved in something realistic and of value to others.

>I’m not defending BN’s actions

Nor have you condemned them either. You’re sitting in a very comfortable chair of non-committal and denial, hiding behind the “colleague card.”

>I’m merely saying that your crusades in the name of representing >the gay community are more harmful than helping.

Perhaps you need to get out of the forest more and into the real world Scott. You know nothing of my contributions to the gay OR straight communities. You know nothing about sacrifice of self, for the betterment of others; because you’re only historical references in life come from a book. Your statement: “I made an academic career of studying it” speaks even now; to you’re disconnect with it, when you so easily confuse anonymous financial donations to charity with public actions and condemnations of egregious and despicable actions of others.

>So no, I won’t entertain your paranoia or extreme ideas. I wont get >into a debate with you over ideas that don’t serve to do anything >but attack other people. I’ve said that the only aspect of BN’s >blog that interested me was the eye candy and making sure there >were no “blind items” about me. Therefore my contribution to this >conversation will not serve ANYBODY’s interest.

So, it’s all about eye candy for you and your own self interests. Thanks for summing that up so well.

I hope for you, Scott, that you’re never a victim of a crime perpetrated upon you by one of your own. Following your logic and expressed condemnation of my own, you’d simply just keep your mouth shut and let the perpetrator go away un-noticed.
