Just returned from seeing "The Last King of Scotland." WOW. What a powerful movie experience. Very eye-opening and enlightening for me. Brilliantly acted. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry if this film has previously been discussed here. Just feel compelled to give it a very enthusiastic thumbs up.

By the way, I thought James McAvoy, a young Scottish actor I was previously unfamiliar with, was superb - and very hot- in this film. Him dropping his shorts in one scene was a surprising bonus :9

RE: "The Last King of Scotland"

That was an intense movie, especially the scene towards the end. I'm glad that Forrest Whitaker got the Oscar for best actor.

I hadn't realized that James Mcavoy role was so big before I saw the movie. I'm surprised that he didn't get nominated for anything. It was kind of funny to see him with all of that hair. I knew that he was a little guy but he really looked little next to Forrest Whitaker. I have to admit, I've had a thing for James Mcavoy since I first saw him on "Children of Dune"

I saw McAvoy's new movie, Starter For 10, but was disappointed as it tried too hard to be cute and charming. He was much better in King of Scotland, or so I thought.
