Daniel has good days and bad days, it seems. I probably had more massages from him than anybody else. Some sessions are really, really good. And some sessions are just so-so, but never terrible. The main issue with him is that it's kinda monotonic between sessions. He's been doing the same thing since I started seeing him a 3 years ago.

Why don't you give the feedback to him that you mentioned here? You obviously like him enough to continue seeing him. Just mention to him what you said in your post.....after 3 years you must be close enough to bring it up. Your post reminds me of a my ex-roommate. He would go to the same masseur every week.....and then come home and say " Tyler does way to much deep pressure during the massage" I said "Tell him". Well, my roommate never told him, and every week would come home and complain the pressure was to deep .......but still continue seeing him......not totally happy with the session because of the deep pressure. We need to give feedback to masseurs that we want to continue seeing if something is not working. They are not mind readers. Just saying.....Good luck

Not recent but was meh when I saw him a few years ago. Distant (physically and personality).

I remember also few years back he was friendly when I first met him and when I left. He seemed like a nice guy, but also cold and distant during the massage, Something told me that this wasn't exactly the right line of work for him and kind of felt bad for him. Even at one point I think he was on the brink of tears. Hope he's doing well though.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is. But I think he does men and women so could have been a client.
