Bozo was basically a God if you were a kid growing up in the Chicagoland area.

 

Parents would get on the wait list for tickets when their children were born and take them for their 7th birthday: Yes, the wait list was up to 7 years at one point.

 

I still get a little wistful when I think about trying to get ping-pong balls into a small, metal bucket.

Yes. We used to sit in front of the TV during lunch hour for most of the show. My school was right was really near my house and I could run home for the show. Now that I think back I am sure my Mom would have preferred we stayed at school. At any rate I remember Bozo in his red outfit.
