Just to be cear, it is not the home of the Berlin Philharmonic. I saw German singer Ute Lemper there.

The iciest Velma Kelly in Chicago I ever saw... And I thought Bebe was tough.

 

Sorry to sidetrack, but Lemper's is a name you don't hear often. Great cabaret singer. A huge talent.

I saw Ute in New York before when she was still singing songs associated with Dietrich and Piaf. Those songs were better known than her choices in Berlin.
