BEWARE: NYC ESCORT SCAM

Fellow NYC escorts, beware:

 

There is a fellow in Far Rockaway who is operating a scam. I know two other escorts who fell for the scam as I did myself. This past weekend I was hanging out with another friend/escort who got a phone call from this guy and I managed to intervene before he fell for the scam too. Here are the details:

 

The guy lives in Far Rockaway and he tells you to take the A train to Beach 36 Street. He passes himself off as “Mike” or “Tony” and says that he is Italian. He speaks, however, with a thick Russian accent. He asks you to bring sexy underwear. He says it is for an overnight and that money is not a concern. He’s always offered $1,500.00. When you ask for a deposit, he will say that he doesn’t have or know how to use a computer.

 

He has scammed three escorts now. None received a penny. One escort I know he simply abandoned after meeting him. I and a friend were taken back to his apartment, had sex, and then were told we were going out to dinner. Once on the street, he said “wait here, I get car.” My friend waited. I didn’t trust the guy and followed him as he headed back to his apartment. I caught him going in, but with the doorman right there, there’s not much a jilted escort can do.
