I've told people to fuck off for asking me to go from South Austin to North Austin during rush hour on a Friday expecting the drive to only take 20 minutes.

Exactly!

Besides guys who rush others usually won't even lift their butts of the sofa to take a shower. Hypocrites!

I'm in one of the world's largest metropolitan regions. Many providers stay or live in West LA, which I'm losely definining as Downtown LA all the way to Santa Monica. 20-30 minutes is frequently impossible even within West LA, let alone if you're outside of it and trying to travel into it.

I'm always surprised by providers who don't understand that asking me to come to them in West LA is asking me to eat up an entire day when the drive time to and from them plus the session time are added together.

Do they usually drive from West LA to you?

I strongly agree with the sentiment. I also find it very frustrating that the vocal majority here seems to advocate that clients flaking on escorts is unacceptable and escorts flaking on clients is perfectly acceptable. Flaking by either side is totally unacceptable. Until their is mutual respect of both client and escort time, both will suffer.

I also strongly disagree that there is no personal loss to a client for escort flaking. My time is valuable too.. but I will echo monetary "damages" have been incurred from lost prepaid airfare, non-refundable hotel booked, tours and event tickets that are non-refundable and non-transferable. It has gotten so bad that I no longer book overnights, weekends, vacations at all --only single hour bookings. My last booking (one hour), resulted in a no call, no show despite the escort confirming our appointment the night before. While I didn't lose any money on this one, I lost a precious day off and had to physically wait at our agreed upon place for 30 minutes until I finally decided I had had enough and went back home.

So to the OP, I am sorry you are having to deal with flakes. Both you and your time should be respected. To the others, please stop perpetuating the bullshit that its perfectly acceptable for an escort to flake on their clients. It most certainly is not!

I gave this post a thumbs down and the @down_to_business came into a political thread of mine and gave my most recents posts a thumbs down. Hilarious, and a waste of my time. Welcome to the Block Party.

I know O'Hare is 45 mins from Downtown Chicago... Here in DC we also have issues with traffic.

I wish clients had common sense when it comes to distances too.

I know how much time it takes to drive from Santa Monica to download LA at rush hour as opposed to later in the evening on weeknights, and I just visit southern California occasionally. I have never lived near LA.

Why do you believe clients do not have common sense.

The only explanation that makes any sense is if clients in Santa Monica are visiting and never driven on Sunset Blvd. I realize there are many alternative route and Sunset would be awful in late afternoon.

Who says I don't believe in clients?

There are fine and flaky people on both sides.

Btw I've never been in LA but I'm sure all the data about commuting provided by posters on here is accurate.

When I talk to working guys about joining this forum, I say there are lot a thoughtful people to have good conversations with. Then I point out there are a smaller group of people with unlimited senses of entitlement cruising the board, looking to play keyboard kommando and heaven help you if you don't see every little thing as they do, or have you own opinions, as they seem to have nothing better to do than chase you around the forum, harassing you, so if you decide to participate, you'll need to decide how you want to handle them, and whatever you decide, stick to that strategy. Unsurprisingly, they have all passed on dipping a toe in here. My feeling is that for guys who are less established, it's just not worth it.

Most who expect unrealistic travel times in LA...LIVE IN LA!

My experience has been that those expectation usually come through at night time, with a possibility of PNP being involved, intensifying the "now" factor. Other theory is I believe its just because of plain selfishness and entitlement, and this goes for hiring and hookups, and for whatever reason feel the other person should defy physics to meet because they feel whatever they have to offer is that good.

Wait a minute... Renting a hotel room to have an escort come over? What about a businessman visiting from out of town? Maybe his company is paying their room. Taking time from work? Maybe for a nooner.

In any big city you can have someone at your home/ hotel or you can be in his place within 30 minutes.

Sure, in any big city you can do that...as long as you have an unlimited budget and are not choosey about size, looks, topping/bottoming, safe/no, etc.

Just leaving Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Cleveland had 4 fakes/cancellations and Pittsburgh had a grand total 8 (EIGHT) lol. It's always a bs excuse. No your grandmother didn't die (you used that one last time). Why make the effort to call and talk to someone on the phone when you have ZERO intention of showing up. I'm open to suggestions on how other escorts handle their screening and appointments.

As soon as I get home, I will get a RM email messaging, hey man would you consider coming to Pittsburgh? LMAO.

THANK YOU, NEXT.

awww.. :( when i am in Indianapolis again, ill do that trick with my tongue again :p I certainly wont flake on you :D
