OK so I know it appears I've jumped on the E.R. bandwagon a little late but god bless TNT for the endless reruns. As I sat watching this scene caused me to shoot milk out of my nose as I ate my "lunch" cereal :)

Here's the scene:

Abbey is running to catch the subway and calls for these two snooty trustfund baby girls to hold the door for her, they dont. She sticks her arm in the door and spills her coffee but gets in sarcastically thanking the little bitches.

Abbey finds her colleague Neela and sits next to her and they chat while the snooty bitches start laughing at them and commenting on Neela's shoes. Abbey asks if they can help and the girls respond how cute the obviously hospital designed shoes are and how they'd like a pair.

Abbey responds to Neela that they should ignore them as they're probably just on a bulimia high.

As luck would have it, the snootier of the two bitches twists her ankle on enirely too high heels and falls on her face. Neela examines her and says that she's a doctor and the ankle might be broken.

"If you're a doctor I want a second opinion..."

(to Abbey) "Doctor Lockhart, what do you think?"

"The ankle is broken and you're a bitch."

OK. Now granted the comic timing and delivery is what made me shoot .... er ... well yeah shoot but it's still funny and teaches us a lesson that recently I'm possibly guilty of too:

It's just easier to be nice to someone than try to be venomous and in the long run it will probably come around to bite you in the ass.

I saw that episode and also laughed my ass off. The delivery was perfect.

I don't know that I agree that it's easier to be nice, but, for the most part, it sure as hell is a lot more rewarding.

By the way, you seem to fly over Chicago frequently. Ever think of actually stopping in?

Suuuuuuuuuuuuure .... when your weather is above 0 and I can wear sandals (as I live in them) then we'll talk.

But seriously I have been planning a trip in the near future. Maybe March'ish ...

If you come in March, you'll still have to bring your rubbers (you know, the kind you wear over your shoes)!!!

I see I'm not the only one who "gets off" on good comedy. I'm good for 3 loads from any disc of Mary Tyler Moore, Season 4. :p

Hey, don't knock getting bitten in the ass...as long as they don't leave marks! }(

I hope you don't wear white socks with them.
