Thanks, there's a great deal of Avalon here, I think that's great but I often can't get some basic answers to questions.

I was watching a tv show - season finale of "The Purge" - and the expression OORAH was used and wondered what it's origin was.

A misspelling of Ms. Winfrey's name, which is kinda ironic because she's explained that her name was spelled "Orpah" on her birth certificate after the biblical figure in the Book of Ruth, but people mispronounced it regularly and "Oprah" stuck.
