"The Fantasticks"

 

It was the longest running production in the history of the American stage before it closed. Somehow I never got around to seeing it. It's now back again, so when a friend offered me a $35 ticket for tonight I figured it was finally time go.

 

It's a sweet, charming show with a solid cast that knocks themselves out to entertain you. It also has some pleasant tunes that have become classics.

 

The Snaple Theater Center is a small intimate place so you are quite close to the performers.
