ANY NIGHT ENTREPRENEURS OUT THERE IN DC?

Kavalier Prince (Legend when stripping) just left. We have been weeping remembering the old good times of Rockhard DC. We did the same with Lee a few weeks ago.

 

We do not like Secrets. He was telling me that he makes 150 bucks from one night at Secrets. Rockhard would bring 400 in one Sunday.

 

They are desperate for a place where they can play with their talents without being penalize every time they break a rule. But apparently the owner of The House, the stripers club where the gay weekly event would take place, is not interested because the girls bring him more money.

 

There has to be someone out there willing to take this opportunity. It is hard to believe there is no market in DC for a sleazy strippers bar.

 

The new thing is a biweekly event at Stadium, a straight club. They started monthly a couple of years ago and now they went biweekly. It is a mega disco, and I heard they bring porn stars from outside DC to join the local talent on the stage.

 

I will go for the first time on the 27. It is Legend's birthday and the big guest star is Krave Melanin.

A few years ago, before the new stadium was built and much of SE DC leveled, there were three thriving male stripper bars along and near O St SE: La Cage, Secrets, and Wet. Each had 25+ dancers every night of the week, and on weekends, the total surpassed 100. All the dancers were good looking, and varied from a number of high school 18 yr old bois at Wet to servicemen to gymnasts to firemen to Congressional aides, college students and guys from embassies. Many, many guys were employed and earned a living at the bars. And a lot of people had a lot of fun. But at that time there was also an agency which specialized in just twink escorts, and they had lots of them. Other agencies handled other types.

 

I don't really know why the bars have not reappeared elsewhere, but zoning seems to be a major issue. That area of town had old ordinances which allowed nude dancing; other areas of the city don't allow it. And applying for a permit today doesn't fly. But I don't really know. It would be nice to have someone knowledgeable from D.C. explain. At one time I read a rumor that someone was going to open a bar in the Northeast part of the city, but nothing came of it. But it certainly would be nice if some helpful entrepreneur opened a good stripper bar. The current "Secrets" is not satisfactory, I agree. They got their permit (I understand) for full nudity only if there is absolutely no touching anywhere anytime. And they strictly enforce it. So you can watch guys standing on little platforms for 20 minutes at a time, but that's it. At least, that's the way it was last time I visited.

You just made me nostalgic of Wet's Chocolate Tuesday. I have been in stripper bars in three continents, those Tuesday nights remain undefeated as the best ever and anywhere.

I think I am changing my mind about going to Stadium on the 27th. I think I will be like a daddy in the kindergarten. My major interest was meeting Krave, but I m starting to feel like he is an amazing porn performer, but probably not so good at escorting. And plus, he is too expensive. I am regaining sanity.

I am getting more info. The event is going to be earlier and shorter than usual because of Howard University homecoming party.

I'm over 18 and male, but for everything else, none of the above! If I went, they would all say, "Who IS that guy????"

 

I am not talking about the sex party that starts at 11. I am talking about the stripers party earlier on, 5 to 8. Anyone can go there, even you.
