The future Louis XVI was 15yo when he married Marie Antoinette. She was 14yo.

 

"At the dinner party the night of the wedding at Versailles, the night

the union was to be officially consummated, the King [Louis XV his grandfather], at the head of the

royal board, noticed the bridegroom on his right, shoveling in his food,

and leaned over to whisper , “Don't overload your stomach tonight ”

“Why not?” exclaimed the young husband , loud enough for all to

hear. “I always sleep better on a full stomach”
