I found this website after reading about him in the Advocate. I listened and enjoyed it.

 

He's hot, he's openly gay (one song features him mentioning men at a bar as an object of sexual attention) and he can sing and write music.

One group I really enjoyed in my younger years was Romanofsky & Phillips.

I have most of their albums on vinyl and all of their CDs. I think the most moving song they wrote and performed was "Living With AIDS". I tear up every time I hear it. Just wish it was more widely performed.

 

Not sure if their stuff is still available but I treasure every album I own.

I really really want to like this guy. And I do like him. I also think he's much too "breathy" and most importantly he needs much much better lyrics. Really pleasant voice, and it appears that he does have range. Glad to have heard him. Thank you.

 

That website that lists gay artists doesn't list Bob Mould, probably the most famous out gay rocker since before Rob Halford of Judas Priest came out.
