Ayurveda Massage in NYC?

Good Afternoon - I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good, legit Ayurvedic Massage Therapist (male) that is in or around NYC. I've been researching the Abhyanga-style of the massage and I'm dying to try it out. Don't have enough miles to go to India and back, so I'm hoping to find something in my own backyard.

I've reached out to every Ayurveda center in NYC and none of them have male therapists... I am destined to find the one. I want to try Abhyanga!!

Hey Matty, watching your search with interest. I’ve been interested and hoping for Ayurvedic masseur for a while, ever since going to India years ago. Also explored the various centers but couldn’t find a male therapist. Hoping you find someone and share that information.

None of the Ayurvedic centers in NYC have make attendants, which is very disappointing. If I’m going to be oiled up from head to toe, I’d prefer a man.

 

I guess I’ll have to book a trip to India lol

Did you try Oliver Oak ?

He's quite well trained in Eastern techniques, and a very nice looking young man to boot.

He’s a little out of my price range, but perhaps for a self-Christmas gift later this year lol
