Bart, actually I agree with you. I think that the more that gays become 'commonplace', the better. A lot of intolerance is based on ignorance & fear of the unknown. Popular media exposure counteracts that. And we all know people who match some of the stereotypes - nothing wrong with that. What we want & need is acceptance of the full range of gays. (and yes, they ARE funny commercials!

I missed whatever 'public spectacle' you're referring to but while it's funny, I don't think the Doritos commercial does anything to advance acceptance of gays. For some people, I think it reinforces stereotypes.

Definitely fine, but I find those lips a bit distracting - like a love-child of Mick Jagger & Tina Turner.

I missed (or avoided) the hype, I guess. I found the episode enjoyable but nothing to knock me out. For some reason, i enjoyed 'Baby It's Cold Outside' more than I did when i wacthed it on YouTube. Overall, i do feel that this season isn't quite as good as previous, but I can't pin down why. Again, some of the situations are just a little *too over-the-top. And none of the relationships really grab me - hopefully things will speed up with Kurt! Santana needs some development, and the new girl. I am starting to like 'The Beast.

SPOILER ALERT- don't read this if you haven;t wactehd the episode & intend to. There were some moving parts in this weeks episode, but I ended feeling somewhat disappointed. I found the whole plot line of Sue marrying herself jarred against the serious plot strands of bullying & the relationshiip between Finn & Kurt. While it had some serious aspects of its own (including the bullying), it just seemed too far out & unbeleiveable - even for this show. And Sue's actions (resigining as principal) didn't seem in character, even considering the continuing revelation of her humanity. Just my opinion, of course.

If we watch Glee because we find it entertaining...are we not getting value for our dollars? And I'm sure that 'the network' has some gay employees and stockholders who benefit fromn our dollasrs as well. I'm not sure I get your point.
