  1. Is it possible that you unintentionally "ignored" MartyB? If you clicked in one of the places that do that you'll have to go to https://www.companyofmen.org/members/martyb.12570/ , then look over to the right upper corner underneath the search bar and you'll see "Report (Un)Ignore Follow". If you were ignoring him by mistake it will say Unignore.
  2. Two other respected San Francisco photographers are Steven Underhill: ( https://www.stevenunderhill.com/), and nicholassmith.com
  3. If you want fetish photos, http://markichester.com has photographed hundreds of guys, and is a serious erotic artist. He collects interesting souls, and I've made some fabulous friends through his circle of acquaintances. He will charge something fair. Another photographer who is responsible for a very large share of the profile photos of san franciscans on dudesnude.com can be contacted at http://www.ronhenggeler.com . He's likely to want playtime in lieu of payment: tall, bearded, slim. (Not a bad deal )
  4. The company stands behinds their products. I would contact them and tell them just what you've written here. Could be a matter of a replaceable electronic component (like an electrolytic capacitor) needing to be swapped out.
  5. That's fairly close to what happened to my father's sister. She was living by herself, had excrutiating arthritis, fell, couldn't get up and was on the floor of her apartment (in Chicago) for 3 days before on of her neighbors heard her yells. After going into the hospital, she developed pneumonia, and they did not put her on assisted breathing. She was in such terrible pain from her arthritis though, that it was clear this action was consistent with her wishes.

  7. I have the impression that @Funguy lives in southern California. Kaiser has multiple regions, and some details could vary by region. I can report (unhappily) that the the Kaiser Northern California region also refuses to test Free testosterone unless the Total is abnormal. My primary care Doctor tried to order it, but just could not find any way in the system to request it. A web search turned up the following regions: Northern California, Southern California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Mid- Atlantic States (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) and Northwest (Oregon and Washington). Other than the lack of being able to do a Free Testosterone test, I've been very happy with the care I get.
  8. Many happy returns of the day (all 29 minutes that left of it in Pacific Time ... oops)

  10. I may be technically in the "donut hole", but under my plan, neither Kaiser nor Medicare have billed me for anything beyond what I stated. My Medicare premium went up because I accepted a buy-out from my former landlord, and it counted as cash-income in one year, and pushed me above the threshold for the highest Medicare premium, but I expect that to go back down shortly.

  12. In the Kaiser PrEP program, you don't have to see your doctor 4 times a year; it is handled by a nurse-practitioner who reviews your lab tests (which do have to be done 4 times a year), but that is done without your presence being required. The copay for PrEP under Kaiser depends on which of the many flavors of contracts Kaiser offers. For me, it costs $25/month, *or* if I get a 3 month supply sent via US mail instead of picking it up in person, $50 for 3 months, and I don't pay anything for the lab tests. An interesting moral dilemma is that Kaiser is billing medicare for $630 of the $1500 / month, and a fair fraction of the lab tests. While Kaiser has decided that it is going to save money (statistically) by putting as many people on PrEP as it can, I feel conflicted about having the taxpayers subsidize it. (For the record, I have an undetectable HIV+ boyfriend who urged me to go on PrEP, even though we're both aware of the undetectable = un-transmisable research).
