  1. Completely forgot!! I’m actually binge watching from season 1 with a family member that had never seen the show. So I’m delaying season 10 for now. Pretty, pretty.....good!

One of the best on TV

Binge watching. Excellent! Season 10 so far is fantastic. Larry. Jeff. Susie. Cheryl. Leon. They are all at their comedic peaks.

  2. Boys, I need help. I'll be in PS from 3/28 - 4/13, but cannot find an affordable place to stay from the 9th - 13th. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Even the airbnb options are quite pricey. Preferably, a place near downtown or the Warm Sands area. Walking distance to Arenas would be great.

    Thanks.

  3. Very much appreciated. The tips are helpful and reinforce what I've been reading, so thanks. We are definitely beach people, so maybe Phuket isn't all bad? Probably depends on the area you choose. Is there a "gay" beach area more than another? We will stick to the coastal parts, although Chiang Mai sounds really cool. Doing more research now, but definitely will do Kho Samui.

Boys - I fear you may be getting overloaded with recommendations but this link may be useful. I have found it so in the past.

  4. I cannot stress strongly enough the need to respect the King. I know that, as an American, this seems a bit much, but it's true. You can be arrested for disrespecting him. Colleagues have learned this the hard way!!

    Thailand’s Lese Majeste Laws

Disrespecting the King of Thailand or the royal family is a serious offense in Thailand; it’s officially illegal and strictly enforced.

People have been arrested for speaking negatively about the royal family. Even making jokes or criticizing the royal family on social media is illegal. Those convicted have received very lengthy prison sentences for doing so — tourists are not exempt.

Because all Thai currency features a portrait of the king, stepping on or damaging money is a serious offense — don’t do it!

  5. I've been to Bangkok many times and have always stayed at the Four Seasons. The facilities are fantastic as is the customer service. It's also within walking distance to a SkyTrain station which is the best way to get around the city. Regarding the beaches, I have to say that I found Pattaya a bit creepy and past its prime. And, it's overrun with Russian tourists which definitely affects the character of the town. I've have always liked Phuket. While the beaches are not the most beautiful, because it's a city, there is lots to do. (I tend to get bored at beach resorts.). You can find ANYTHING you want in Phuket.

    Have fun boys. I'm jealous.
