This resulted in some negotiations on dates and times until we landed on something later in the week. I'll just say I'm glad I didn't have to pay the regular 90-minute price. He was nice enough, very slender, hung like an elephant, and the massage was as you said, lackluster.

Based on reviews, I began texting Koltan a couple of weeks before beginning my vacation in Scottsdale, where I have been for a couple of days now. I've had similar things occur with massage therapists and with a couple of fitness trainers. Very simple and clear answers when I asked "why?" Reasons have ranged from new relationship to tired of the business to focusing on a certain niche of clientele. I'm a freelance writer-editor and I've done the same thing with some of my clients. Businesses change course.

I don't see any masseur who hasn't been fully vaccinated. If there's doubt, I ask for proof and provide mine as well. And I certainly don't allow anyone inside my home who hasn't been fully vaccinated. I ask for proof. It's my private property and my right to set and enforce requirements.

Yeah, I've wondered about him, too, and just haven't felt compelled to shell out $200 for a massage.
