  1. I've done actual skydiving as a 25-year present for myself. It was enjoyable, memorable, I didn't soil my pants on either end, but I'm definitely not going to do it again, even if it were free. I found out about indoor skydiving from an episode of the Anthony Bourdain-produced "The Getaway" show back in 2013. There's an indoor skydiving chain just outside of NYC and Philadelphia that I have been to. Equally as fun as the real thing I would say.
  2. Yes, quite a bit: wild boar, quail, horse, bison, ostrich, monkey, snake, still-alive octopus (when it's dead I don't consider it exotic anymore), bird's nest soup (I guess not really a meat, but exotic), and the usual assortment of insects that people fry up and eat. I've eaten dog once. I accompanied my cousin to his wife's family in the Philippines, where they served it cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, and lots of chili. It's not at all a normal thing for them—buying the meat is very difficult and the taste on its own isn't anything to write home about. I feel like they just did it because they had foreign visitors and wanted to go beyond the other local delicacy: balut.
  3. I did it once—and only once—to a man I had the hots for. (Well, still do.) I had always used protection with anal and could not figure out for the life of me why I swallowed. Thankfully, I came out with a clean bill of health, but I swore never to do it again.
  4. I have had the same stylist for about seven years now. She's helped me with three hairstyle changes and we've cultivated a nice friendship—she invited me to her wedding last year! I prefer to shave my facial hair. I've made a 30-minute ritual out of it which I look forward to every Sunday night. As for hair down there, I just get it sugared every month or two.
